The month of May has come and gone, which means it’s time for the June edition of Bunker’s Dozen<\/em>! In May’s go-round<\/a>, Phil made his way to the top of the rankings after winning the season’s first major championship. The female golfers maintained their swagger last month, but the big guns of the PGA Tour fizzled a little. Add to that the fact that a lot of lower-ranked golfers won events last month.<\/p>\n

The combination of these things makes this edition of Bunker’s Dozen the most unpredictable one yet. Also, a member of the Champions Tour makes an appearance for the first time ever. I hope you all enjoy!

Lorena Ochoa<\/span> is the hottest golfer on the planet right now, picking up another win in May as well as maintaining the top spot on the LPGA money list.<\/div>\n

\"Jay<\/div>\n

Jay Haas<\/span> makes his debut on the Bunker’s Dozen after winning the Senior PGA Championship, his first career major championship.<\/div>\n

\"Karrie<\/div>\n

Karrie Webb<\/span> remains in top three this month after picking up her second LPGA victory of the season. Webb also sits in second on the money list.<\/div>\n

\"Jim<\/div>\n

Jim Furyk<\/span> won the Wachovia Championship, one of the PGA Tour’s best events, the first weekend in May.<\/div>\n

\"Brett<\/div>\n

Brett Wetterich<\/span> picked up his first career PGA Tour win last month at the ever-popular Byron Nelson Championship. His win also put him in contention for Ryder Cup.<\/div>\n

Tim Herron<\/span> was everything but “lumpy” en route to winning at Colonial last month.<\/div>\n

\"Phil<\/div>\n

Phil Mickelson<\/span> didn’t play that well in May, but he didn’t play badly enough to drop from number one to nothing. We will see if he can win his second major of the year at Winged Foot.<\/div>\n

Winged Foot<\/span> is the site of this year’s U.S. Open, and the course (especially the nasty rough) has already gotten everyone’s attention.<\/div>\n

Tiger Woods<\/span> hasn’t played competitively since The Masters, but that hasn’t stopped the press from speculating on his plans. Of course he’ll play a major! Don’t be ridiculous.<\/div>\n

Trevor Immelman<\/span> has been Mr. Steady over the past month or so, losing in a playoff at the Wachovia Championship and finishing runner-up the next week as well.<\/div>\n

Adam Scott<\/span> has also put himself into contention a lot over the past month, finishing third at the Wachovia Championship and Byron Nelson Championship. If only he could learn to putt.<\/div>\n

Jeff Maggert<\/span> won the weak FedEx St. Jude Classic, but a win is a win on the PGA Tour.<\/div>\n
