Vijay Singh<\/a> was not the only person thrilled with the outcome at the Chrysler Championship<\/a> this week. Here’s a rundown of key money list spots that were affected by this week’s play. Keep in mind that the top 30 are eligible for the Tour Championship<\/a> next week in Atlanta. The top 40 get into the Masters<\/a> and the top 125 get their tour card next year.

\nTag Ridings<\/a>, 190th on the money list just one month ago, made seven birdies over his final 10 holes to close with a 64. That put him in a tie for 11th, earning enough money to finish No. 125 on the money list.<\/p>\n

Kenny Perry<\/a> shot 67 and moved up two spots to No. 29, making him eligible for the Tour Championship next week in Atlanta. Carlos Franco<\/a> held onto the 30th spot, despite closing with an 83.<\/p>\n

Joey Sindelar<\/a> missed the cut at the Chrysler Championship. This didn’t seem to matter late in the tournament, however, as he was set to finish No. 40 on the money list which would get him into the Masters for the first time since 1993. Then on the 18th hole, Jesper Parnevik<\/a> made an 18-footer for birdie and Tommy Armour III<\/a> missed his 3-foot par putt that knocked him down into a two-way tie for second. That little exchange was worth an extra $100,000 to Parnevik which moved him past Joey Sindelar to No. 40 by $13,254.<\/p>\n

However, things are not all peachy for Jesper Parnevik and Tag Ridings, the two players sitting on the brink of their respective ‘cut’ lines. If Padraig Harrington<\/a>, not currently a PGA Tour member, wins next week’s Tour Championship, he automatically becomes a Tour member and his earnings count on the money list. His current earnings total of $2.2 million are enough to place him within the top 30 and would knock both Parnevik and Ridings down a spot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
