\"Hittin'Something weird was in the air this week. Brandel Chamblee came right out and accused Tiger of cheating. Three events on the big tours went to playoffs, while on the PGA TOUR Webb Simpson ran away and hid. The U.S. Government got back to work, and so did Obama (on his game). And can you believe that Brazilian wildlife may find it’s way onto the Olympic golf course in Rio?<\/p>\n

Here’s a quick tour in links around the world of golf, including a sighting of Michelle Wie’s game, more playoffs than you can shake a 3-iron at, and one more reason to keep your ball in the fairway. Let’s hit the links.

\nHole #1: It’s Webb in a Yawner<\/strong>
\nWebb Simpson won the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin by six shots over Ryo Ishikawa and Jason Bohn. [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole #2: Playoff in Australia<\/strong>
\nJin Jeong’s par on the first playoff hole was enough to carry him past Ross Fisher to win the Perth Invitational, which is sanctioned by both the European and Australasia PGA tours. It was Jeong’s first win as a pro. [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole #3: Playoff in Korea<\/strong>
\nAmy Yang made birdie on the first playoff hole to best Hee Kyung Seo and win her first LPGA title, the KEB HanaBank Championship in Incheon. Michelle Wie shot 66 Sunday to move up 19 places on the leader board and finish T3 with Suzanne Pettersen. [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole #4: Playoff in North Carolina<\/strong>
\nOn the Champions Tour, Michael Allen birdied the first playoff hole to beat Olin Browne and win the Greater Hickory Classic at Rock Barn. [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole #5: Shutdown Over, Time to Golf<\/strong>
\nIn a sure sign that things are getting back to normal in government, POTUS returned to the links. President Obama teed it up Sunday at Fort Belvoir, VA, for his first round since Sept. 28. [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole #6: Cheater, Cheater<\/strong>
\nTiger’s agent, Mark Steinberg, has hinted that he may take legal action against Brandel Chamblee over a Golf.com article in which Chamblee accuses Tiger Woods of being “a little cavalier with the rules.” [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole #7: So You Bought a House on a Golf Course<\/strong>
\nA Nevada man has pleaded guilty to a felony charge of shooting a golfer whose errant shot apparently broke a window in the man’s home. [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole #8: Rory Finishes Second<\/strong>
\nActually T2… Rory McIlroy’s four-under final round charge came up one shot short of Sung-hoon Kang, the winner of the OneAsia Tour\u2019s Korea Open. Hole #9: Caiman and Capybaras of Olympic Proportions<\/strong>
\nGolf at the 2016 Olympics may have to contend with caiman, a smaller member of the alligator family, and capybaras, the world’s largest rodent, on the course.
