\nJustin Rose out-distanced the field at the Scottish Open. We’re kind of wishing that we’d picked him for the Open Championship after seeing what he did at Aberdeen. [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n
\nAfter a career spent failing to win majors (or in the U.S., in general), Colin Montgomerie has now won two of the last three senior-circuit majors in America. It appears that he’s finally learned to tone down his rabbit ears and relax a little out there. Monty overcame Gene Sauers in a three-hole aggregate playoff after the two finished regulation play tied at 5-under. [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n
\nBrian Harman got his first PGA TOUR win at the John Deere Classic Sunday. His 22-under total bested Zach Johnson (who always seems to win or almost win this event) by one stroke.
