\"Hittin'Tiger Woods did not register for next week’s Players Championship, so that means the next most likely even that he’ll be part of is the Memorial the first week of June. His camp has apparently made housing arrangements for both the Memorial and the U.S. Open. We’ll see if Tiger comes out to play.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, the rumors we’ve been hearing for months are true. Adidas is looking to sell<\/a> TaylorMade, Adams and Ashworth. The leading candidates to purchase at least TM are rumored to be Under Armour and New Balance, but that could all be conjecture. <\/p>\n

In the meantime, next week will bring a Dye-abolical time in Ponte Vedra. It’s always a good time, probably more so for us watching than those playing.<\/p>\n

\nPar was good enough for James Hahn to claim his secon win at the Wells Fargo Championship after Roberto Castro drove into a creek on the first hole of a sudden death playoff. Hahn had missed eight consecutive cuts prior to this week. Castro had a moment of weirdness when he got up and down from a man’s shoe for his bogey on the first playoff hole. [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole #2: Jutanugarn Nabs Two Firsts<\/strong>
\nAriya Jutanugarn hung on Sunday to become a first time winner and the first Thai winner of an LPGA event at the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic in Prattville, Alabama. [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole #3: Must Be the Volcano Ash<\/strong>
\nJesper Parnevik won his first Champions Tour victory at the Insperity Invitational by four strokes. John Daly finished T17, 10 strokes back. [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole #4: Wang Beats Nacho<\/strong>
\nThe guy with the best name didn’t win. South Korea’s Jeunghun Wang took the Trophee Hassan II in Morocco on the European Tour by beating Nacho Elvira in a playoff.. [Link<\/a>]<\/p>\n

Hole #5: Golf World Rallies to Aid Fort McMurray<\/strong>
\nPeople affected by that huge forest fire in Fort McMurray are in the hearts and minds of many golfers, especially those from Canada. Graham DeLaet, Adam Hadwin, and Nick Taylor are donating $500 for each birdie they make this week to relief efforts.
