\"Singh\"I’ll admit, the title is a means to get full use out of the lame title we chose for yesterday’s coverage<\/a>, but c’mon, cut us some slack! We’re not professional journalists!<\/p>\n

Vijay Singh shot a “disappointing” 4-under par third round of 69. 15 pars, an eagle, and two birdies only served to shorten his lead to one shot from his previous two-stroke lead. “It’s a disappointing 4 under, but I’ll take it,” Singh said. “I’m still in the lead.”<\/p>\n

Jonathan Kaye played excellently, advancing into the final group with Singh by shooting 7-under 66. In three consecutive days, Jonathan Kaye will have played with Ernie Els, Tiger Woods, and Vijay Singh, the numbers 2, 3, and 1 players in the world.

\nTiger Woods threw three shots away on the back nine as well. First, a 2-iron into waist-high weeds on 15 was never found, resulting in a lost ball penalty and a bogey. On 17, his driver went 370 yards through the fairway into similar weeds, resulting in an unplayable lie and a one-stroke penalty. He finished with 69 and is five strokes out of the lead, but his putting woes showed some sign of dying off.<\/p>\n

Due to incoming inclement weather, tee times were moved up five hours. Players will now play in threesomes and start on both the first and tenth tees. TV times for Sunday’s final round remain unchanged: 7-10pm ET on ESPN.<\/p>\n
