{"id":82,"date":"2004-09-26T21:03:22","date_gmt":"2004-09-27T02:03:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thesandtrap.com\/uncategorized\/anna_who\/"},"modified":"2004-09-26T21:03:22","modified_gmt":"2004-09-27T02:03:22","slug":"anna_who","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thesandtrap.com\/b\/lpga\/anna_who","title":{"rendered":"Anna Who?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"anna_acker_macosko.jpg\" src=\"\/b\/imgs\/lpga\/anna_acker_macosko.jpg\" width=\"151\" height=\"218\" class=\"bordered\" \/>What do you call someone who&#8217;s played in relative obscurity for most of her professional career, only to surge to shoot a blisteringly-hot 11-under <strong>60<\/strong> in California?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lpga.com\/player_results.aspx?id=28&#038;tid=297\" title=\"Acker-Macosko's Scorecard\" class=\"external external_icon\">Anna Acker-Macosko<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Starting the day off tied for 40th place at 2-under, Anna Acker-Macosko came out of nowhere to equal her career-best finish (T5) at the Longs Drugs Challenge in Auburn, California. Today&#8217;s finish is also only her fifth top-ten of her career, but her second this year. She was joined in fifth place by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lpga.com\/player_results.aspx?id=122&#038;tid=297\" title=\"Jang's Scorecard\" class=\"external external_icon\">Jeong Jang<\/a>, who posted an equally impressive nine-under 62.<\/p>\n<p>Of greater importance, however, was the collapse of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lpga.com\/player_results.aspx?id=497&#038;tid=297\" title=\"Lindley's Scorecard\" class=\"external external_icon\">Leta Lindley<\/a> (67-67-65-76), who fell from the lead to end up tied for 13th after posting a final-round 76.
