Every time a person mentions (yells) 3 or more positive things about themselves they are then obligated to share one negative with the rest of us.  Just for some sort of balance.

Remember that interview when "Koepka"

1 - boasted how good he was at predicting scores

2 - How well he plays Bethpage

3 - how fit and amazing he is

1B - yet the one negative that he had no basic/simple ability at all to tune out his playing partner's annoying behavior (most likely the fact they exist and are breathing on the same course and not being as awesome as he is)

me neither.....

but if he did - this would fit your rule

All great players.  Rory is a disappointment.  Spieth never had the power.  He had the putting.

Yeah - Rory was only number 1 for 95 weeks total.  he's such a disappointment.....

Jordan made it 26 - horrible - he doesn't have the power?  really?

Woodland isn't a great player?

Just stop - I consider Brooks has the potential to be a great player for some time.  You don't need to downplay others to progress your fan favorite though.

Does he have something in his pocket there...or is he just really happy to see himself?

Why clutter the mind with unnecessary questions when one should just be marveling at the magnificence of a GOD.

All those takes on the players are accurate. Rory is a disappointment when you look at his ball striking stats. Spieth is not a power player. Woodland only has 3 PGA tour wins at the age of 34. That isn't great.

I do think Keopka is on the upper end of the PGA Tour. It seems like he really steps up in Majors.

What may separate Koepka from Rory, Jordan and DJ is he’s mentally strong. This is why I think he could win 6+ majors. I just don’t know if his “muscle man” style will work later in his career. He may have 6-7 years of top level play before he tapers off some.

He's certainly not easy to analyze based on behaviour and expression. Being mentally strong is a pretty important deal when playing at the top level og professional golf. You need that when three of your five PGA wins are majors.

You said it much better than I did.  When he first came on tour, I expected much more from him.  Now I'm even more curious to see how he does this week.

Muscle man? He's not huge, and it looks like he has a big frame. Don't go all Chamblee on us with this overworking out stuff ;)

Koepka's Strokes Gained (2014 thru 2018): 21st, 15th, 12th, 13th, 12th,

He's pretty consistent, and he tends to do well in Majors. Maybe he focuses on not winning every tournament and tries to focus his energy on the Majors more so. I wouldn't call that being more mentally strong. A person can only have a certain amount of focus and energy driven towards winning before they burn out.

Ball striking 1st, then hope you get a hot putter.

    • Both @DaveP043 and I play in our interclub matches every year, and have been team Captains as well.  There are always a few courses, mine is one, that win a lot of matches (we've won twice in the last 7 years), and we've been labeled as sandbaggers.  However, I really think that our course was rated too low (our greens just never seemed to get factored in enough), and thus our Handicaps were always a stroke or maybe 2 above, what they would've been if the course was rated higher.  And then when we went and played other courses, their slope and rating were much higher than ours, and sometimes I would get a 2 or 3 stroke bump on top of that.  It was definitely an advantage.  However, this past year, our course was rated again and the slope has gone up, so we'll see if we continue to have the same benefit.  Season starts this Sunday for us.
