Hate to say it, but if the wind doesn't blow this week (and it's not predicted to), there will be guys getting to double digits under par. Course just not that tough without wind and greens are too soft.

Tiger joins the under par party with a birdie at #4. :-) 

For those who said Phil's was the shortest miss in TOUR history:  it wasn't.  It isn't even the shortest putt missed in majors in my lifetime.  Hale Irwin missed a tap-in at the British Open in 1983.  Hole 14, day 3, ball on edge of cup.  Irwin put his putter behind it, drew it back, went forward and missed.  That's a stroke.  He missed a playoff with Tom Watson by a single stroke.

The last two holes in one at U.S. Opens have been Rory Sabbatini and Zach Johnson.  Here's hoping a player I like makes one, that'd be pretty neat.

      Day 35 (26 Feb 25) - Day of easy work (hanging around the house as son had shoulder surgery and I needed to help keep an eye on him).  Worked on low spinner 50deg wedges - keeping the ball low flighted and checking quick.  Went with the 8i after to do low flighted runners.  Great visit on two ways to get the same/similar results.  May be able to get away tomorrow for a short 9hole round (as long as the son's recovery cooperates).....

      Day 1: 2/26/2025: So, I'm starting over on this again.  My son brought home the mother of all flu bugs from school. It raged though our house and knocked me on my butt for about 3 days.  Now, that I think I'm clear of the death plague my son gave me. I was able to rise early this morning and get some nice mirror work in. I felt stiff like a board for the first few swings, but loosened up and was able to get at least 20 minutes of first robotic slow swings and then gradually more fluid swings.  My focus was on the timing and fluidity of my priority pieces.

      I use a MagSafe connector on my tripod. Occasionally I use those clips.

      Working on some swing videos. What are you guys having the best luck with as far as devices used to record the swing?  I have a tripod with a magnet that I stick my phone on but it is somewhat of a pain because I have to remove the cover on my phone and when I pull it off the magnet the tripod head changes and moves position. I was thinking something more like an ipad maybe. On a different style tripod and maybe even set it up to mirror to a tv.
