You have absolutely zero idea of what his fate a s a professional is. Hopefully he'll do really well. But historically, he has more chance of fading away than becoming successful. It's a sad but true fact of life when it comes to golf.

Amen! Too subjective. Gotta go with what you have experienced. Example: My 7 iron. 33 degree loft. For me 150-160 yds all day. Now, my 5 hybrid, 28 degree loft. If I choke down slightly, tee the ball up (tee box only) I can cover 160 - 170 yds. Off the deck, 180 yds. Just gotta learn your clubs, a few variations.
