In each of the last three months I have played in a scramble.  In looking back at my notes, about 90% of the putts for birdie are in the 9-20 foot range.   While I understand the rationale for SV2 Skills of focusing on 3-15 feet, and, the SV1 Skills are of 15-25 feet.

I am thinking about focusing on putts in the 10-20 foot range for the next couple weeks before the next time I play in a scramble.  Particularly since we ended up being 4th in all three scrambles, missing out by 1 stroke to be in the money!!!

Scrambles aren't real golf. The Separation Values have no real hold there. It's likely quite possible you have more putts from closer range when you get to choose the best of four approach shots after choosing the best of four drives.

Get comfortable with your speed and comfortable with your start lines. Become good at watching other people's putts, who probably aren't good at either, to see what the putt does. You shouldn't need to read anything, then.
