I have a set of i3-9 with Dynamic Gold S400 shafts on the way. I can't find any info about them. The seller only wrote that it is standard loft (what that now means). Only thing I can find is that Nick Faldo was involved in designing and testing them back in late 80th, and that these clubs got out on the european market only in 1989.

If someone can tell more about the specs, like loft for each club it would be great. And how heavy DG S400 is compared to my current KBS Tour C-taper 105 s shafts.

Don't know the head specs but the shafts are basically as heavy as you can get. Up to 132grams. So pretty big change from 105 KBSs.

I play a set of Macgregor MX Midsize with Macgregor Multiflex (Think thet are like DG R300) that are heavier than my KBS shafts and felt great in the swing. Got the Wilson clubs today, but can't test them before monday because they at work and I'm not today.

    • Little slow in posting this, still smiling over this shot. Last Saturday I played at Oldfield CC in Bluffton, SC.  It was a rainy day. #2 I hit my Drive straight down the right hand side of the fairway into the bunker about 260 to 270 in the rain.  Looking at my ball I was sitting about 155is out in the trap, the trap was wet so the sand was not fluffy that relieved me as I felt the shot would easier then. I went up a club as I usually do from a fairway bunker.  Decent lip to clear but felt I could get my 7i up in time to do it.  I went for a standard all ball contact before ground, hovered my club and nailed it perfectly.  It was a beautiful looking ball and landed pin high just right at about 10' from the pin and just stuck there. Missed the putt for birdie but got my par. Still feels good thinking about how that shot felt and flew.
    • Shot a 79 yesterday, that I wasn't necessarily proud of. Started out great. It seemed so easy, a 38 on the front 9, then for some reason, lost my swing on the back and carded a 41 with 2 double bogeys. and a bogey. Today, I made up for it with a pair of 37's, for a nice 74. 2 bogeys, 6 pars, and 1 birdie per 9. Nice consistent golf.
    • Speaking of deniers... it's been several months since I've heard anyone say covid-19 is not as bad as the flu.  276,000 covid deaths later (vs. 22,000 flu deaths) and those deniers have gone silent. And speaking of vaccinations... I like the idea of the $1500 incentive to get the shot(s).  Though I think $1000 would get the same results.  I bet that incentive would move 70-80% of the anti-vaxers off the schneid.  They're fickle and easily bought. Then we'd quickly get our herd immunity.  And I can remove this damn mask.
    • This is my 9i from my session this morning.  4 straight balls on the toe and finally 1 in the middle.  10 out of 20 shots on my 7i, 9, 6i & 8i all were toe today. Yesterday my first 8 balls were all toe on my 5i, 2Utility, 3Utility and 5 wood.   Yesterday I adjusted better and finished strong center ball striking. Today I moved closer to the center but still towards the toe. To me the Driver seams a little odd in the fact that I am consistently finding the center of the face.  Yesterday I was center to center low and today I was center to center high on the face.   Any ideas what to do to work on this would be appreciated One good thing about this, I will not be prematurely wearing out the groves of my irons
