Whatever Bryson is doing is working for him. I didn’t recognize him at first.

It'll be interesting to see him on a wide-open course where he can go for 400 yards.  Not sure when that is, but this week's Harbor Town is not that course.

Yea, he has to manage his game across the bag because of his increased swing speed.

He did a pretty good job of that last week by leading the field in strokes gained tee to green.  Around the green and putting wasn't great though.

Fair play to him. He built muscle and increased speed as a result. Clever move and you'll see more players follow suit. Anyone who bulks fast will always gain a bit of fat, they can lose that later

I'm waiting to see Jim Furyk bulk up.

So you don’t like Bryson for whatever reason. You realize you’re responding in the same manner that Tiger haters do whenever Tiger pops up in the news, right?

There's no reason to hate Tiger. OTOH, Bryson is a tool.

I always love Bryson DeChambeau threads. No matter the topic you always get:

  • Slow play comments ... check
  • Hat comments ... check
  • Clever ways to tweak his name. i.e. Douche Chambeau etc ... check

Now we gotta add fat jokes.

AND ... thanks to @Vinsk grammar policing as well.

I love it.

See, I told you; He's good for the game.

I am definitely, and unabashedly, fat-shaming DeChamblows...

I think he ate all his calculators.

I have not seen any real discussion of this one here yet, so I am bringing it up gingerly again.  I'm not even leveling an accusation, because I have no grounds.  This is just a question (see me be careful?).

Is there any form of steroid testing protocol for the PGA?

This is one of the sillier questions I've seen in a while. Of course there is. The PGA Tour's Anti-Doping Manual is 50 pages long.

The PDF is in that USGA link, BTW.

Yes it is.  To "bulk up" as a goal, gaining belly fat is part of the deal.  Most people will decide to shed it later, and can do so with much less difficulty than most of us.

Man, I really don't think it's much of a beer belly. The transformation has been pretty crazy to say the least. Here's a before and after. (FYI I don't know when the before was taken, but I do know the after was taken off his Instagram less than a month ago.)

If there is anyone that gained a ton of muscle that I don’t think is on steroids, Bryson would be it.

that dude is a f***in nut. I don’t think he has any issue committing 6 hours a day to working out. He’s just that type of guy.
