Glad the "USGA/PGA Tee It Forward" program was mentioned. That has been my guide for awhile along with what was posted some time ago on TST. BUT recently started using Golf Pad Tags GPS and What a surprise! Miscalculating my driver distance by 10-15 yards! I'm an old man but my pride is really hurt. Need to get to work on this. My first stop will be a launch monitor to confirm, as was also mentioned. Best, -Marv
North of Georgetown.
It was several years ago now, so I can't be 100% sure. Looking at maps, it looks like it might have been Stenger's Shamrock Farms Par 3 on Saw Mill Rd.
Fun place. Great for novices.
and @Buckeyebowman, Because of that "one time" they hit it further, they think that is their reasonably good average. Often, that "one time" was downhill, downwind, and off a cart path to boot! The only good way to deal with distance is to get on a launch monitor and do a reasonably good average of your carry numbers.
