First! Ha ha. But seriously, I never heard him in the booth or even watched any of his interviews, so dunno what his personality is like.

Davis Love III is heading to the broadcast booth. The World Golf Hall of Famer and 21-time PGA Tour champion is joining CBS as an analyst for its coverage of the PGA Tour, the Masters and PGA Champ…

Benefit of the doubt until he uses the phrase "of the golf ball" or starts calling putts "efforts"

then it's open season

Or “this just a moment ago”

he always seemed a bit quiet in front of the camera.

Okay, I’m sold.

Good grief.  They must be deep into Matt Every’s stash over at CBS...

Carrot Top and Gallagher we’re booked.

Yep, we kinda knew that going in.  But he proved it.  Talented golfer doesn't translate to talented on-air commentator.

As I said in another thread...a loaf of bread has more personality than DLIII.

Glad to hear he's back to competitive golf and a desire to spend more time with family.

    • I would suggest putting up a swing video so that people can assist you better.  In general, very few people can generally have too much hip or shoulder turn.  Most have too little
    • Day 64, July 28, 2021: Three quarter swing feels today, same stuff I’ve been working on for the last month.
    • It's finally arrived! Will dig in, hope it helps my game as it has for so many here!
    • What do you guys think about limit hip turn on back swing for greater hip turn down swing? I believe my swing is full hip and shoulder turn on back swing but only get a little bit open hip at impact. any drill to help me achieve this and get more hip turn on down swing? the best I can do at impact.
    • Day 154.  I practiced the "snapping sticks" quarantine drill a bit more today, both with the alignment stick and my 6-iron (I seem to feel it more in my right arm than my left, although once I've gone for 30 seconds, I can start to feel it in my core).  I also hit a dozen full swing shots with my 6-iron (indoors, off a mat, etc), the usual practice routine for them, focusing on takeaway and position at the end of the backswing.
