First! Ha ha. But seriously, I never heard him in the booth or even watched any of his interviews, so dunno what his personality is like.

Davis Love III is heading to the broadcast booth. The World Golf Hall of Famer and 21-time PGA Tour champion is joining CBS as an analyst for its coverage of the PGA Tour, the Masters and PGA Champ…

Benefit of the doubt until he uses the phrase "of the golf ball" or starts calling putts "efforts"

then it's open season

Or “this just a moment ago”

he always seemed a bit quiet in front of the camera.

Okay, I’m sold.

Good grief.  They must be deep into Matt Every’s stash over at CBS...

Carrot Top and Gallagher we’re booked.

Yep, we kinda knew that going in.  But he proved it.  Talented golfer doesn't translate to talented on-air commentator.

As I said in another thread...a loaf of bread has more personality than DLIII.

Glad to hear he's back to competitive golf and a desire to spend more time with family.

    • Day 70 (6/13/21) - My wife filmed me taking swings with an 8-iron and Driver (w/o a ball) in the backyard. Positions seemed pretty good in the backswing, but in the downswing, I noticed that I have a tendency to let the club open up as I started down, thus requiring a correction at impact. Based on this information, I did several more swings focusing on keeping the clubface square to my line throughout the swing. Will work on ingraining this feeling again tomorrow.
    • Every other weekend I play a modified version of match play with a friend of mine.  We play all 18.  Today I lost 8 to 6.  However...we also keep a cart score:  the winning/tying score, each hole, being the cart score for that hole.   Our previous low cart score had been +4.  This morning we managed a +3.
    • Whoever chose this course (me) should be punished. And @georgep too. Apologies.
    • I recorded my swing in face on and down the line and have uploaded it here. Please critique and provide feedback. Appreciate your time on this! Thanks! 11 HCP. 8 Iron. Looking to optimize swing and learn to score in Golf.
    • Got a new birdie on #18 today. Hit my best drive of the day through the end of the fairway into a swale of rough short of the apron leading to the green. Had about 65 yards to the pin, so too a bit off a 9-3 sand wedge. Hit the approach to about 12 feet, and rolled in a left-to-right putt to end the round with a birdie.
