Digital Golf Edition: What’d You Shoot Today?

This is a little spin on Erik’s popular topic, “What’d You Shoot Today?” Under this topic, you can share scores from golf video games, if you so choose. I’ll start:

On WGT Golf, I played a 36-hole stroke tournament at Pinehurst (playing length par 70, 6700 yards), with each round being played over a few days. First round was an unlimited play round, where you can play as many times as you want, and your lowest counts. I only played once, shot a 71, and I was thrilled with it. Everything came together over those 18 holes, and I was confident going into the second round today. This round was a single-play round, where whatever you shoot goes. This round gave me a tantrum. I probably shot my worst round ever on the game. Here it is:

F9: 4-4-4-6-7-4-5-4-3=41

B9: 5-5-6-4-5-4-5-3-7=44=85

If you know Pinehurst, that gives me eight pars, six bogeys, three doubles and a triple. No birdies, although I did have a few in the first round. My tournament total was not pretty: 71-85 for a sixteen-over 156. I don’t think I’ll finish in the money this time, but there are plenty more tournaments.
