Need bifocals now?😜 I can’t see it in either orientation. Plus YouTube seems to have problems with portrait, so I do landscape.
Forward press will lead to a more in to out swing. Is you start line right? I have this habit and have to aim my feet left of target, otherwise I hook. You have a nice looking swing.
Thanks for posting. I would recommend looking at the full swing drills in this thread below, especially day 1 to 5. It will help you on the back and down swings. The shoulder pitch drill on day 2 is also a good stretch to help flexibility and strength. I do that as a warm up.
You need better camera angles for us to see your swing. The article below describes how to do that.
That being said, you are flipping or casting at the ball before impact. I would recommend going through the full swing drill in the thread below, especially days 1 to 5.
A good practice drill I do is similar to the day 5 drill. I start with short swings, almost a chipping motion, and swing to try and keep my hands in front of the ball at impact. This is called “in-line impact or Key 3. This means that at impact, the shaft is aligned toward your left shoulder and vertically the hands will be in front of the ball.
Gradually lengthen the swing keeping the same feels. This is also a good warm up drill.
Are you using a pitching motion or partial wedge shot motion. I tend to pull partial wedges and for me it was an alignment issue. I switched my set up to aim the face first, then align my feet. I use a point about a foot in front of the ball to aim the face at. For pitching motion, same set up.
