Picked up 4 more holes yesterday, #2, #4, #10, and #13. Still missing four holes, hopefully get to play golf again one day.

Kinda stinks, I don’t have a home course anymore as it has permanently shut it’s doors. Not sure what to call my home course now. Guess it’ll depend on where I work next.

5 birdies today, checked off hole 7, others were repeats.

Five rounds in March, birdied or eagled 10 out of 18 holes.

Six rounds into the year, and I've birdied 8 of the holes.  Yesterday I got one on our 13th, 167 yard par 3.  The interesting part, this is at the highest point of the back 9.  The day had been foggy from the start, but starting up the 12th hole it closed in.  By the time we got to the 13th tee, we could only see about half-way to the green.  No flag, not even "darker fog" to indicate the tree line to either side of it, just white. So we picked lines based on where we could see the forward tees, I hit a decent shot, about where I aimed it, and found myself with a 25-foot putt that I managed to roll in.

Hole 9. (8 of 18)

This is one that I thought might be one of the last ones I’d make, since I have a difficult time even making par here.  I missed the green, but had a beautiful pitch that rolled right in.

With the styrofoam cuffs, I’ve had some putts that were kind of iffy as to whether they would have holed or not.  Fortunately, when I walked up onto the green (elevated green from where I pitched it), it wasn’t a question:

Always sad to see courses close, even worse when it's yours... We've had at least three close in the Tacoma area in the past year or two.  Lipoma Firs, Brookdale and Fort Steilacoom  you will be missed.

They're supposed to be on the same course. Maybe you mentioned something about this earlier, but we have a separate tab for your "not home course" birdie challenge.

yeah, that’ll never happen. I only play 15-20 times/year and never more than 4-5 times on the same course. I guess I didn’t see that separate tab

Got one on hole 1 a couple of days ago and Hole 6 yesterday. Played blue tees, so a little longer than my others.

Got one on #5 today off blue tees.  Chipping in takes the pressure off my putting 😂
