Got in my third round of 2020 today. Didn't add any new birdies but I did add my third eagle of the year and I finally made par on my nemesis hole # 2. I have now eagled three of the four par 5's at my course. Still have 8 holes left to birdie and no idea when I will get out again.

Birdies on 4 & 8 for me today 🙂, along with my best ever front 9 of 2 over 38. Last few holes on the back hurt me though.

Only played nine holes, one birdie had to quit because it was raining. Playing tomorrow but most likely won't complete my monthly challenge because I'm not playing my course until March.

Two birdies, checked off #8, that's it for me for the month, won't be playing Summerlin this week. 14 holes completed in seven rounds, not bad.

Got three today, but of course not on my home course. Holes… 2, 7, and 16.

Played in the rain this morning.  Was a bit cold on the fingers too with a chilly breeze. It cleared up on the back and the sun tried to get out. I managed a birdie on the par 5, 18th hole

Played my first round of the year at my home course last week. It was a terrible round filled with mediocre ball-striking and bad putting. Final tally - 87, net 81.

I did manage to check off a birdie on the 7th hole, however. As a 496 yard par 5, it's one of the easier birdie holes on the course, but at least I am on the scoreboard.

Like @Big C, I just played my first round of the year on my home course yesterday.  It was a little bit of a struggle, but not awful, with one nice birdie putt on the par-5 15th.  I gotta start somewhere!

Congrats ...

Thanks,

I’d say there was a little karma involved.

One of the four on Friday , I also played with on Wednesday, I was bemoaning my perceived bad luck ( he actually said he’d never seen anyone get so many bad bounces , lies etc) when approaching the 9th green my Garmin watch beeped and said “ your day is looking up” which guess was a reference to the amount of steps i’d taken.

I let out a sarcastic chuckle and showed him the watch, I’m sure he didn’t really understand why it said that, but he said maybe your luck will change .

The tenth is stroke hole 1 longest par 4 on the course, I hit a really good drive, just behind the 150marker, but a poor second.

It was heading for the front right corner when it landed , bounce left a little and went in!

First time I’ve eagled that particular hole

I had an eagle chance on the par 5 #17 at my home course, but the ball ended above the hole on a steep slope, maybe 12 feet away. I barely touched the ball and it rolled 7 feet by and I missed the comeback too. So, on the spreadsheet, I still have a 0 in that spot... Argh!!!
