Birdied 11 today playing with @Divot Master. Hit one of the only good drives I hit all day to the right side of a split fairway that gave me a great angle into a long but narrow green with a false front. Hit a pitch shot cleanly but long, 15' past the hole, then made the putt.
It’s funny cause this is the year I’m starting to get older and wiser (turn 36 next week...age is relative) and stopped doing full range sessions for like an hour before play. Hit just enough shots to get comfortable and see what shot shape I brought that day and then 5-10 minutes putting to figure out speed and hit a few 5 footers to gain confidence.
No, it would affect swing weights and stuff, so people want to know what a grip weighs. And then they weigh it themselves, but still… if you're replacing one grip with another, you might want to match it up. Or go lighter or heavier on purpose.
