Graphite Shafts From Lefty to Righty

I'm moving shafts from left hand to right hand iron heads, I've left the grips on the shafts so I know how to line them up. But, do I need to turn the shaft 180 because I'm swinging in the opposite direction, I've read online that I do but wondering if someone else has done this and what was the result. I thank you for any advice you can give, cheers Colin from NZ....

No. Unless the clubs were "spined" you won't have to do anything, and there's not really been anything that truly supports a "spined" club performing better anyway.

I'm thinking there's some effects to a shaft swinging left to right for ten years, just don't know what and hoping someone has done this and has an answer based on experience. I'm guessing Srixon spined there shafts, thanks for your feedback....

Shafts do not acquire memory.  Nor do they wear out.  Flex is a longitudinal measurement...not a lateral one.  There is no such thing as a left-handed, or right-handed shaft.  Carry on and don't worry about it.

I am left handed and frequently buy used high dollar shafts to replace existing OEM shafts. I do not know the shafts background but I assume most if not all of them were originally on right handed clubs. I do not turn them over and have never had any issues using them "top up" so to speak.
