I would rather not talk about it, as it makes me feel guilty that it is more than what most people in other countries make in a year (and I am not bragging, I genuinely get depressed when I think about the wealth that we have in this country, and that I feel inclined to spend so much on a game-- and I'm sure I make a lot less than the average poster here).

Anyway, on an uplifting note, my other hobby (which I have since dropped to finance my golfing addiction) was photography, and that makes the money I spend on golf look like couch change.

My wife would shoot me if she ever got hold of this list - in any case, returning from Orlando in March, USAirways lost all our bags, including my beloved clubs. Thankfully everything was returned in two days, but I had already compiled a list of "golf stuff" in the event of filing a claim...this list is just what's in the bag - no extra stuff like my r7 ti 5 wood, a few extra Scotty's, etc.

book your tickets with american express. the airlines are only liable for reimbursement up to $2,000.... YEAH!

I do 30 - 40 cities a year for the past 8 years....it gets lost...it just happens....but more airlines are liable only up to 1000. 2000 on an international flight. the funny thing? most airlines have small outlet stores in their home area that... after a certain amt of time elapses and stuff isn't claimed...they keep it..legally and then resell the stuff
