How much did you pay for all of your clubs, bag, balls, pull cart or rangefinder if you use one, and anything else that you consider part of your essentials? If you feel up to it, go ahead and give us a quick breakdown. I'll start:
905R: $130
904F: $55
NVG2: $35
Tour Teen XT: $185
putter: $20
bag: free

Everything I have was donated to me by a fellow from Edwin Watts Golf...

Full Titleist DTR Irons/Wedges: Free

TaylorMade System2 Driver: Free

TaylorMade Metalwood 23*: Free

Rawlings Putter: Free

And I even get to golf for free at a local 9-hole course.

I plan on buying a new putter and driver soon though, so it won't be free for long

I don't know about where you play, but at the Muni in Tulsa, they make you leave your bag in a rack outside the pro-shop while you pay for your round.

It truely is a testiment to how Golf is a gentlemens sport when you think about how many tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment is sitting in those racks conveniently stuffed into bags with handles, yet seldom (if ever) walks off. Know what I mean?

I went retail since I got a few deals.

TM Superquad - 399
TM r7 TP Irons - 799
TM Rescue TP - 199
Titleist Wedges - 220
Scotty Putter - 275
Adidas LTD Shoes - 250 - The price is high, but the shoe is fantastic
Bridgestone Bag - 129

Total - 2271

You should have put as an option, To Damn Much.

I know I am still not done buying stuff either. I still need a 3 wood and some other crap that I dont need but cant live without.

And as for the leaving the bag in the rack outside the clubhouse, that truely is a testiment to how much trust we put in another golfer. Greatest Game in the World. Next to Football.

with all due respect to the old mastercard ads:

(this doesn't include the full set of titleist in the garage complete with wedges, putter and even shoes--if you guys ever travel to DC for work and want to get in a round and don't want to deal with lugging your clubs i'm the guy to call)

driver: new FT-5 from Callaway after FT-3 broke/free (FT-3 was $399)
hybrid: cleveland launcher: i think it was about $120
3-wood: callaway fusion (3-strong) /$150 on ebay
irons: 599
wedges: 4 vokeys at 110 each
scotty putter: $300 give or take

bag tags from Hoylake, Bandon, Pebble, and a few other tracks: about 40 bucks

buying those bag tags after a few beers and counting up the scorecards after those rounds: priceless
