Struggle with closed club face. Lose a lot of balls left best round is 70 but back after 13 years and shoot 81-95 on form hit a nice draw. Miss is straight left duck hook or massive push. Thinned irons try anplay fade an hit straight left.  Would like to continue with draw but miss right 🤙

So the first thing I noticed when looking at your swing is you seem to be moving your head/shoulders towards the ball quite a bit towards the top of the backswing. Another thing is your shoulder turn looks to be a bit flat. That is something I am currently working on as well. Trying to get my front shoulder to point more towards the ball at the top of my backswing.

Try to get some slow-motion videos of your swing next time if you can! Makes it a lot easier to see what is going on when you can really slow it down

Could do with some help guys? Nobody got an opinion on what I can work on?

We're generally happy to help, but (and please take this as trying to help you):

  • You sent one swing from a bad angle
  • It's not slow-mo
  • There's no face-on
  • You have seven posts here and four of them are in this topic.
  • You haven't been seen for six months.
  • We don't know what you're doing except that you swing your 7I 90 MPH now.

I think you're overdoing the left knee/heel stuff. I think forcing the left heel off the ground like you do serves no actual purpose at all.

Thanks.

the left heel just feels more natural as I rotate into my right hip. I can’t seem to get the same feel when I don’t do it.

I struggle with rotation from years off playing a flip draw, not rotating on backswing then early extending in downswing, still early extending but not as bad If you see  at previous video.

thanks for input though!

You're actually working against the rotation slightly.

Anyway:

  • Post slow-mo from good angles.
  • Participate elsewhere on the site.

Those are my recommendations.
