There’s some good ones in my opinion. I like Faldo, miss Johnny Miller.  Dottie Pepper needs to retire. Bones on the course is good.  Zinger is still learning.  Some of the Golf Channel guys are as dry as toast! Tom Abbott, yikes!  Judy Rankin?  Please retire!

Agree its pretty average at best, no clear dominating-take charge type broadcasters today. Appears everyone is overly conservative with their commentaries. Not saying I want all Brandel Chamblee's (at least hes not afraid to stir the pot so to speak) but it would be nice to see more authoritative voices in the booth.  No clear leading voice or network dominating in coverage commentaries IMO.

I rather enjoy some cheeky Faldo, but aside from him I don't see any standouts.

Hearing McCord’s commentary on Bryson’s Bo Derek hole would’ve been cringe worthy.

This is for the ‘older’ members. They’ll get it.

It would be funny!

She certainly was a 10. When I told my wife Bryson made a 10 on a par five she could not believe someone of that caliber could make a 10. I found it a little hard to believe. Makes me feel better about some of my bad holes over the years.

When I was about 25, and still learning the game, I declared on the 9th tee to my two buddies that I was GOING TO TURN IT AROUND RIGHT NOW.

I then made back to back 11's.

The standard of commentary is really appalling, generally. There’s no one that stands out. They all sound the same to me and expel vapid garbage.

Golf commentary is dead. CBS ... you may as well listen to paint dry.

Part of the problem now is that, since the commentators are not on site they're watching a delayed stream. At least it seems that they're farther behind the action timewise than I am. I often hear them oohing and ahhing well after the putt has just missed the hole instead of just as the putt rolls by.

    • Another cold day where it didn't get above 50 during the round. Played the outside (Hills at Community) 45-46-91. 4 pars offset by 4 doubles and a triple, the rest being bogeys. Only two 7s on the card which is good by me, just can't get back into the 80s. Iron play was as good as yesterday, if not better. Driver was keeping the ball in play which helps too. Just some poor 3 wood shots that really hurt me, one being a full top that went 5 yards in front of me. Glad that Ohio weather hasn't shut me down all the way yet. This also marked my 60th round played at my home courses for the year. I've probably played 80 total though because my courses were closed for the first 2 months of Covid.
    • Pushing club out further. Can really feel all my ribs..:-)
    • There’s a button that opens up a zoomed in view of the green, and on that view, you can place the flag and the location of your first putt, and any chips close to the green. It only records the location of the first putt as far as I can tell, but you can increment the number of putts on that view or the overall hole view.
    • Managed to get one of two drills recorded before skies opened up. Letting my back completely open up to target to get a good turn and pushing out club away from me to get width. Pushing club away can be better for sure.
    • @Missouri Swede or anyone else who can maybe answer this question, what are the options for tagging putts?  I will not be able to use the inserts on my putter.  I assume you can tag the putts on the app?
