That is interesting. I was now just trying out moving my shoulder with out moving my arm. It takes some concentration to do that. Its a bit easier to do if you think about reaching for something. I was focusing on just activating the muscles in the shoulder to do that and it's tougher to do.

Round your shoulders slightly at setup, now where have I heard that before 😉

I’m on board with the reaching part, but what do you mean moving your shoulder without moving your arm? Your arm will move when you protract and retract your shoulder.

More of a thought/feel thing. 

Can I move my shoulder forward with out focusing on moving my arm forward. Which, it will move if I can activate certain muscles. It is much easier to get the shoulder to do that when you focus on just reaching forward. One feels extremely difficult to do, the other is very easy.

This video was an enormous unlock for me. The feel of not changing the humerus to collar bone angle at all until near A3 and only extending the SC joint has been a meaningful part of successfully making big changes to my swing.
