Sandbox in the mornings might end up being a good thing. I’ve read some comments from people on the internet that say it’s a good way to warm up and get a feel for the conditions before you play.

Yeah I think it will be great for that, and also for getting used to the bunkers. They are a bit tricky to hit out of.  I'm actually thinking about brining a Sunday bag for the Sandbox rounds.  Something to consider I guess with only needing a few clubs.

I’m renting a cart anyway, so I’ll just use it for both The Sandbox and Mammoth Dunes/Sand Valley rounds each day.

Dude. No.

I’m going to assume you’re joking to protect my sanity.

Why not? It’s $10 to rent a cart for the day. Why wouldn’t I just rent it two hours earlier?

If you take a push cart on the Sandbox I’m banning you. 😄

Why not? Imma let you figure that out.

you need a push cart for 5 clubs? I’m not even sure you need a golf bag

Geez. I was just saying since I'm already going have to rent a cart anyway, I might as well get extra use out of it.

You guys seem to making a big deal out of nothing. I'll carry the damn clubs in my hand, f***ers 😜

Yeah, it’s us that’s making a big deal out of nothing.

It’s okay, though, Bill. The other seven of us will just all wear “I’m With Stupid” shirts.

P.S. I think if you use a push cart at the Cradle they’re legally obligated to toss it onto the train tracks. If not, they should be.

    • Sounds like you’re saying, ‘ why bother with DNA when the FBI has been using fingerprints and hair for years?’ Metaphorically speaking.
    • Best drive of my life!  look at that swing plane lol
    • Not sure if I’m misrepresenting him here, but I think Erik’s point is that while shaft bend, lie angles, etc have been studied for years, there new, more accurate ways to check old information which may lead to new ideas or correct old misinformation and if that possibility exists why wouldn’t someone in your position be interested in growing professionally.  As you prob know, Erik is very science, numbers, FACT driven and if there are new innovative, more accurate, ways to test things, he prob sees it as an exciting opportunity and couldn’t understand ignoring that opportunity.
    • Back at it again.     did a bit of work today and was able to video.  Though, given the proximity of they bays at the dome, pretty much impossible to get a face on view.     I’ll try to get one if I can ever get bay #1.      anyways, here’s a 6i DTL.
    • Day 155 (26 Nov 21) - Got in the backyard w/8i and Birdie Balls.  First couple of series, seeing pushes right.  Decided to work on closing the stance  and squaring the club face to the target path to get a more right to left flight. Kept the swings to 1/2 to 3/4.  Last few series (groups of 3) had the ball moving in the desired flight path.
