You can switch it to 2017.

How do you switch?

I use Google Earth program, so I got more options than searching google through the browser. I thought there use to be a way to switch images, but they might have gotten rid of that in the browser form of google maps.

Doesn’t look like much of a course from a Google Maps perspective.😜

Well at least we know the sand is a natural characteristic there. 😊 It is supposedly around 200’ deep in some spots.

I think you mentioned that the sand was different, what makes it tricky?

Be careful how deep you wiggle your feet into the sand...

I don’t know what sand they used for the bunkers near the greens. But if my memory serves me well, which is questionable, it is very soft and unforgiving.  I’ll also be using the putter as much as I can near the greens. My short game still sucks. Haha

This is often the best play where I've played on sand-based courses, like Scotland links or the Pinehurst area.

I have read that putter is a viable option even from 60 yards out at times.

Well at least for some people. Not me, though. I struggle to hit my putter 60 feet.

I have downloaded the pdfs. It's time I get myself used to working yardage books.

Good video to help plan for the Sandbox, what clubs you want to bring or how you want to approach it.

There MD and SV vlogs are great too. Thanks. I think I saw somewhere on the vid that they are UW college players.

Yeah I think UW Stout.  Which is near Eau Claire, not far from where we will be staying.

I did an old man thing and bought a cart bag this morning, Ping Traverse with a built in cooler pocket. My stand bag does not have tie downs for the legs and it is always an issue on push carts.
