While the temperature was not terrible (55 degrees dropping to around 45), the sustained period of high winds was pretty nasty.  Then throw in the periodic downpours and one has a bad day for golf.  It was a good reason to watch the Masters and not go outside.😉

Much the same down here.

My buddies had a 2:30 tee time, but I told them yesterday that if the winds were over 25 MPH, I wasn't going anywhere.

Weather guessers sound optimistic about the end of the week.

Yes, I have already made tee times.  Thursday around 10:15am since it looks to be a bit chilly early (frost?).  Friday my friend and I have the first tee time (9:04am) at a metro park course locally.  Should be no frost based on projected temperatures.

Let's Play!!!

    • The upside of no grocery workers is that we can go through the line and not have to pay at check out.  Free food!
    • Grocery workers were considered essential early in the pandemic, more so that educators.    I'm glad educators will be moved to the front of the line but I still believe that grocery workers are essential.
    • I would still argue that most people that are passionate about soccer (the world's most popular sport) aren't on twitter.    Have you been to a pub in a foreign country watching a soccer match?    It's crazy and full of emotions.
    • Many, many years ago, I cut my left pinkie at work.  I didn't think it was anything serious, no real pain.   I was headed on vacation the next day.   Two week later and I still couldn't straighten the finger.   The tendon had been cut.   Because it happened at work it was a Workman Comp claim and I heard all kinds of crap from the boss and the medical department.   The shop doctor tried to convince me that I was too  old (26) to have the surgery and the finger would be fine since I wasn't in any pain.    I had the surgery and they placed a pin in my finger from the middle knuckle to a little past my nail.   It was irritating but not painful until they removed the pin w/o any anesthesia.     The hard part was the PT.   I didn't have any and worked with the finger myself.   Arthritis has caught up to some of my fingers but still vividly remember the PT.
