And now Xander in the water on #16. This is turning out more exciting than I expected it to be.

Now it’s interesting.

And just like that Xander gives it back.

I was typing what a tough cookie Xander is and then he puts it in the water!

And now he’s got a tough chip to get up and down for double bogey.

Xander pulling a Norman just killed the excitement. But...here we have it. No. Xander isn’t ready. He’s not knocking on any Major doors. Choker.

I think Xander will be thinking about that tee shot for the rest of his life the way that Arnold talked about a certain putt he still thought about his whole life.

So, in two consecutive holes, someone from the final pairing will make a six after going into the water on 16.

The one he missed on the 18th at the L.A. Open in 1959, leading to him getting a 12 instead of an 11 on that hole?

The door was open, he just didn’t step through.

Rose started walking after his putt on 18 to see how it broke for what he assumed would be the next putt.  Then it went in.  Good read!

Schaufele looks broken after that. Poor lad. Matsuyama still has to get his drive away, but he’s nearly home. Zalatoris must be praying right now

Macintyre makes T12 and gets an invite for next year
