As an 11 handicap, with friends who are all 20+ handicap, it would definitely build some character, or at least provide a valuable lesson on coping with extreme failure.

You keep saying that.

Occasionally I'll play my own "worst ball" scramble when I'm out by myself. Even as a single digit handicapper, I hit so many loose shots that getting more than one par in a 9 hole stretch is almost a

This thread smells funny. A five handicap is going to average around 78 or 79 or so depending on the course rating… three five handicaps playing their worst ball are going to have a heck of a time bre

    • if a 20 index senior were to get fitted for irons, previous using10 YO cavity back, what is a realistic expectation new tech would bring? e.g.  +7 yds distance from +2 mph clubhead speed less spin,  4 yd narrower dispersion assuming spending $1000 is affordable.... thanks in advance, mike

    • While I really believe a golf forum isn't going to change anyone's opinion about the vaccine, let me add a twist. There are several colleges that are requiring students to be vaccinated before returning to school.   Are they wrong?   If so, why do all elementary schools require vaccines for students before they can attend?   The coronavirus isn't something new where a vaccine was whipped up in a few weeks.   We all took polio vaccines to help eradicate the disease.   Mump and measles are heavily reduced until some people this past year decided not to get vaccinated and there were consequences.   I understand the idea of being concerned about something new here, but it's not new.   Science and the many, many thousands of hours of work of very highly skilled scientists have assured us of its effectiveness.
