I am a senior product designer at Hampf design in Sweden.
I am a dedicated golfer like the rest of you ...but what may set me off the mold could be that I have had the pleasure of designing and producing my very own putter.
The whole idea springing from the fact that I had the tools and connections needed to pull off this hobby project.
I recommend anyone who nourish a dream of building a fairly non-complex product as a putter to pursue their dreams... it is a great joy to sink a clutch put on the 18th with your very own design and reap the rewards in at the 19th.

...any help and/or advice needed regarding design can be forwarded to me and I will be happy to help.

I'm an Audiovisual Consultant. Essentially, I meet with a client and architect in order to design out video conferencing systems, projection systems, video distribution systems (think casino floor), etc.

I am the K9 Unit Trainer for a Metropolitan Police Service. Best job I have taught Police Service dogs to do is to find balls I have hooked into the forest while practicing on my property..

Freelance writer/journalist. I write mostly about manufacturing/engineering.
I set my own hours and live 5 minutes from the golf course - eat your hearts out, guys!
Ahem - it's nearly 3am and i will have a couple of jobs to finish by Monday. So maybe focus on the hors d'oevres and wait for the main course...

    • Fair   My uneducated thought: the big miss is the penalty area. If you want to optimize score, missing into the bunker (likely 5) is better than missing right into the penalty (possible 6). With that, your strategy seems sound and if you hit a committed shot, you get a bunker 5% of the time, take your medicine and hopefully get a putt for par but accept bogey. You may find yourself in a penalty situation 2-3% of the time and accept the associated outcome. The vast majority of the time though you are giving yourself a good approach shot into the green.
    • I walk 30 mins a day on my lunch break. It is not very intense (since i dont want to get sweaty in my work clothes), so just a touch above leisurely. 3 days a week I walk on the treadmill for 60 mins. I alternate the incline from 4 to 10 for a couple minutes, once every ten minutes. I lift my kettlebells nearly everyday. I have a couple complex routines. I find just 15 minutes and my heart rates is elevated
