This is at the top of the list if I ever buy a sports car #priorities

I knew someone with a BMW - I want to say M5, but can't remember exactly - where if you popped the trunk there was actually a decal showing you how to stow four golf bags in it.

Once drove past Craig T. Nelson on I-5 South on the way to San Diego and he was in a convertible Porsche 911 with his golf clubs in the passenger seat. 🙂

I'm looking for a small, fuel efficient car with some panache, and two-seat roadsters fit the bill, e.g., BMW Z3 Z4, Mazda Miata, Honda S2000, Mini Cooper, Nissan 350Z, etc...

Please reply if you own one or know someone who owns one and whether their golf clubs fit in the trunk (mandatory requirement)

Thanks.

I have a Fiat 124 Spider, and thought you should it is totally unsuitable for golf

I'm on my second GTI (2018). For me, it's the perfect combination of sportiness, mileage, trunk space, and price. Golf clubs fit sideways (just), and you can drop a seat to fit more bags lengthwise.
