2022 ANWA and Dinah Shore/Nabisco/Chevron

I'll miss both final rounds because my college team is playing in State College, but I'm recording both and plan to watch them later, particularly so if anything happens.

They’re moving the tournament after this year; it was here for 51 years.  They haven’t explained why though.

I kept waiting for them to say where they were moving too. I know it's in the "Houston area" but that's all I have heard. It's too bad, it seems to me like this tournament is the LPGA version of the Masters. No offense to Houston, but I don't really get the move other than Chevron wants to move it to their home town and they are spending some big bucks. It's not like there are "iconic" golf courses in Houston.

Having read several articles on the matter, I think it was just Chevron put in big bucks and doesn't want it to be in California. I mean oil companies and California aren't exactly the best of friends. If you increase the purse by 60% to $5 million you can have the tournament any damn place you want. 

Strange thing is, Chevron's headquarters are actually in California. 🤔

I agree with this.  It's one LPGA tournament that I am excited to watch when it comes around because of that history and familiarity.

Will watch final round at 5pm today. Lets see if Kupcho can hold on. Would love to see Korda or Thompson also make a run.
