On most of my iron shots, for some reason, my divot is WAY deeper on the toe. The heel side of the divot might take a half inch or so, but the toe side digs in further by another half inch to an inch. Almost like the head of the club bends back to me at impact or something. This is causing massive deceleration on my follow through, and my finish is never more than about 3/4 because I've just lost all momentum from the toe digging in like that.

Any ideas?

This could be anything from clubs that don't fit to one of several swing flaws. Your ballflight (initial direct and path WRT the target) and the direction of the divots (WRT the target) is crucial information.

Probably too steep of a swing. But it could be your irons are too flat. How tall are you, generally if you are over 6' you need at least one degree upright (do not quote me on that). But you should definitely have your swing looked at before running off and getting your irons bent upright.

The ball flight is anywhere from dead straight to a slight push. Sometimes a bigger push.
The divot is straight to ever so slightly left (outside in).

I'm six feet and a half an inch. Six-one in shoes.

I'm going to be getting a new set (a real set, lol) soon, and I'll get fit for those. Seems a waste to get a fitting done with these since it would cost more than I paid for the clubs in the first place.

It sounds like you are not badly OTT. There are 3 most likely culprits.

1) Your irons are too flat or conversely too short (quite possible given your height) 2) You are losing your spine angle coming into the ball (straightening up) 3) You are standing too close to the ball at address dave

I agree with those who have said that you are probably coming in too steep. The steeper you approach from the higher position the hands will be in at impact (and the more the toe will dig). A shallower path will lead to thinner (and more level) divots.
