Both goalies had there stand over and taunt moments. Argentinian goalie stood over De Jong almost dick-out after one of his conquests. That got ugly-ish..lol.

That PK was as hard as the tee shot on 18th at the Players on Sunday. Looked like he swing at it from a mile out. No shame though, they left everything out on the field. Good game.

Yeah, high pressure for sure. Missing the goal altogether just makes it really sting. Hell with so many keepers brainwashed with just picking a side ( like putt for dough) he probably could’ve just dinked it straight ahead and made it….lol.

Messi was on fire! Argentina looked so damn good in that game. They totally controlled the middle. That game was a great example of the difference between a true baller ( Messi) and a media-created, all-hype limited skill photo boy ( Ronaldo). 😃

Sadly, Morocco looked outmatched from the start. They had a ton of trouble getting inside the French defense. Near the end, they kept passing back trying to set up something, but you can’t score goals when you send it back to your keeper.

Also, I turned the sound down because of that constant whistling. It sounded like locus had invaded the stadium!

After France got the opening goal, it looked like all MAR for long stretches. At the half MAR had two shots on net and FRA had one… that went in, too.

I don't know what TOP was for the latter 1/2 to 2/3 of the game, but I think it favored MAR.

At a Moroccan restaurant yesterday (co-incidence). The owner had his support sash on that said 'MAROC'. He is of French decent. On that note he said the general mood amongst the community was pride for having made it this far considering how low they were seeded, mixed with bit of inevitability of ending of the dream run.   

He said the effect of their performance is meaningful to Africa as a whole, since this will beget the continent two more slots in 2026. Apparently FIFA has a 'PIP' system for slots allocation.. :-))
