Sounds like you're trying to prune gorse.  Seems as if gorse can actually throw its needles at anyone nearby!

It was actually Mahonia Japonica. Brutes

    • Day 5 - More mirror work, primarily on  good follow-thru position.
    • Day 35 - 10 minutes of indoor putting practice.
    • As @iacas mentioned, I'm happy to help plan this year. If we want to stick close to Pittsburgh/Ohio, we could play a round at my club:  Home | Weirton | Williams Golf & Country Club Williams Golf & Country Club is a private club located in the heart of Weirton, West Virginia. We offer memberships of all varieties and can host any event. It's nothing special, but a nice round and something a little different.  Depending how many folks we have, I could possibly also get us on at Allegheny CC.
    • Yep, I just heard this on the news.  Very interesting indeed.  Will be interesting following along with what transpires now.
    • Day 16 (6 Feb 25) - It was my weekly nine hole round with my friend Mike.  Played with 10 club set (D, 6i-Pw, 50, 54, 58 and putter).  Played from the gold tees -so it was driver off tee except the par 3’s.  Driver behaved nicely - 6 of 7 fairways hit off the tee.  Longer 4’s and par 5’s were 6i followed often by a short iron or wedge if the green was missed (only 1 GiR / do the math). Overall - these challenges are great teachers of course management….
