So normally I am a fairly good iron player. They don't always go as straight as I would like but they are generally close to the target and the distance is correct. Recently however, I have started hitting weak slices with any iron above a 7. My divots all point to the left of my foot plane, so I know I am doing an inside-out swing, but I didn't know that that is possible with irons. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem, and how they fixed it.

You say your divots are pointing to the left of your foot line, but your swing is inside out? If the swing was inside out the divot would point to the right of your foot line.
Or are you left handed?

I have been suffering from that problem for a while. A friend of mine gave me a quick few pointers that has worked pretty well but I know it's not that formal solution but it has worked for me
What you want to do:
line up like you are about to tee off or hit the ball then bring your back foot (for me its my right) back about half a foot's length.

It will be awkward for a little bit but you will get used to it.
However, it does not work all the time but it has worked about 80% of the time for me.
