Are
Wilson gloves from Wal-mart $6 each, bought 5 for the price of one of my regular bionics. I go through a glove every 4-5 rounds(18) so I figure with 20 rounds left I'll be covered. plus these gloves have an extra patch were I wear through them...on drives
are your grips wrapped with sand paper ?

Just purchased the following for post surgery golf being that I am a USAF Veteran I thought they would be appropriate.

Titleist T400 irons. I haven’t gotten them yet, but they are on order!

Bought a US Kids golf set and pink hello kitty balls for my daughter.  It's for her 3rd birthday so i'm just hoping she likes golf as much as her dad.

Picked up a barely used set of Callaway RazrX irons (3h,4h, 5-pw) reg flex graphite shaft. These things looked like they had less than 5 rinds on them. Got them for $300 at GG, which I thought was pretty good! I have a week to try them out and get something else (may get the Mizuno 800HDs if the RazrX don' t feel right when I play with them a couple times this week). Also got the free Secret Grip I stalled while I was there. I actually feels really nice, but the proof will be playing with it tomorrow!

golf pride vdr midsize for the wedges, a tigershark jumbo (the middle one) for the putter, and another 3 dozen hx bite. i like them and we don't have a golfsmith in maryland so i figured i would stock up.

really like the putter grip. very repeatable and i had a very consistent putting round with it. didn't have a problem with distance, but left 5 putts within 6" of the cup with a few that i gave a minute to drop.

Not a golf store purchase but I got last year Lunar Controls for $19.99 from my local Nike Outlet. They have the version that Rory is wearing right now for $39.99!

    • I would assume McIlroy is in pretty good shape so resting HR would be something in the 60s. He's just on the tee about to hit and it's almost double that.
    • @billchao, @nevets88, @jamo and I try to get together for a round every year. We generally try to meet in the middle. We are looking to see if other New England, NY and NJ members are interested to get an idea of numbers and location. No date has been set. Bill and I are going to Erie June 12 to 16, so that week is out.  There is also the meet up in Wisconsin in July that Bill is going to. It would be a weekend day.  Let us know if any of you would be interested and I can map out a place and a potential date.
    • Why? And couldn't a person grip the club in an Arm Lock style such that they keep their hand against their forearm, so the putter is only contacting their hands?
    • The arm lock putters seem to have a lot more loft and offset than regular putters. How about putting limits on those things? Or, how about just making a rule that says the only points of contact for any club is the hands.
    • I have an older model 36" Cleveland putter that I used last year and half. I am 5'7" with shoes on. I 'anchored' it on my left forearm (I am right handed) a few times (didn't like it as it delofted the face and would 'skip' the ball - a user issue, but that's beside the point). So yeah, surely it will leave a subset out that can still 'anchor' to forearm.  Come to think of it, I can clasp a 34" putter to my forearm if I bend enough..
