Hey guys, just wondering what is the best score you have ever got on a golf course.

76.....I was "in the groove" for a three week stretch. Had a shoulder injury...laid off a while, healed up and have been trying to find my way back to bogey golf.

Shot 72 at my local course. Completely different nine's though. Had 9 pars on the front. The started the back birdie, birdie, eagle. Then went double, triple. Then, I come to 18 a hard dogleg left par 5. I never shot under par, so i knew i needed that eagle. Hit a perfect hook around the dogleg to give myself a chance. Had about 250 to the flag, 215 to the front edge. I absolutely smoke the 3wood to get there. Had about 25 feet for the eagle, gave it a nice run, but had to settle for a tap in birdie for 72. Ashame i had to have the double and triple, but i didn't have a bogey all day!

I shot 79 in my league championship match last year. 41 on the front and 38 on the back.
Best this year is 83. 38 on the front and blew up for 45 on the back.

I have a question about eagles. I have made three eagles in my life, and one was in a high school match. But no one in my threesome, nor anyone else I have played with, knew how to mark that down on the scorecard. I know you put a square around a bogey, or a circle around a birdie, but what goes around an eagle??

Pars get nothing. Birdies get a circle Eagles and anything else farther under par gets two circle. Bogeys get a square, doubles and anything else get two square. Of course, this system can be adapted for anyone.

82...happened about 2 weeks ago.....considering ive played my whole life but not as much as i should have...my brother "rydaddy" (known as on this forum) taught me pretty much everything i know...im still generating my handicap now so the 100s ive been getting are gonna get me a high index!

A 77 and your off a 6 index? You must be pretty consistent to stay that low when you are only shooting 1 under your handicap with your best score?

How are you a 13 H-Cap index? Am I recording or posting my scores incorrectly? You and I seem to shoot roughly the same...

low 18 was last Friday with an 83 on a par 71, lowest 9 was the back 9 of that round in which I was 4 over 39. I hopefully will continue this as I shot an 85 the next day....

72 twice on the same course in Novato California,indian valley its called.
The second time i shot it was a few weeks ago and i was even par on the 17th with a par 5 as the last hole,i got on the green in two and i said this is it one under at least,i three putted for par.

low 9 was 1 over
low 18 was a 76...
same day that i shot 1 over on the front...and SCREWED up the back
