How does it effect ball roll?

Well Purestrike have made some zero degree'd putters, and they seem to be delighting everyone who uses them. (apparently from my golf magazine). Not sure what it is ment to do just know about purestrike.

Here is my understanding....Any ball sitting on the green will settle into a "hole" in the putting surface. Either a hole left by somone else or simply gravity pulling the ball down into the grass. The loft is supposed to lift the ball out of the hole and provide forward rolling motion. Too much loft and the ball bounces. Too little and the ball jumps out of the hole creating inconsistant roll. I have heard that 4 deg is good, because most people take about 1 deg out when holding the putter.
