Here's my position on the Golf Mags I get.

Golf Digest - Great Monthly publication with good balance between features and instruction.

Golf Magazine - OK Monthly publication but a little heavy on the instruction for my taste.

Golf Tips Magazine - Least favorite of the monthlies and I'm not renewing. Not enough detail in the tips and it's pretty much all tips and equipment.

Golf World - I get this weekly publication each Wednesday with coverage from the previous weekend (tomorrows edition will cover the WGC Accenture, Mayakoba, and the LPGA Fields). It's got good coverage of the pro, amateur, and college events, and people. It's a often a fun read.

Golf Week - I just subscribed to this one based on a copy I saw at Yes! golf the other day. Looks to have a few more articles than Golf World, but I have to withold my opinion without actually getting more than one (old) copy (unlike the music critic at Maxim).

Hope this helps a little.

I buy 2/3 UK mags a month - I find Golf World the best of the bunch.

Golf Punk has girls - as well as golf. Lots of pictures, not many details.
Today's Golfer is ok but small.
Golf Montly can have some good articles but not as much as Golf World.

Not sure what you have in the UK but we have Irish Golf Digest which is the same as Golf Digest in the States but edited to include more Irish stories. Same equipment reviews etc.

I've bought Golf Digest but prefer the Irish one.

I just bought my first Golf Mag last week. Golf Monthly, and I'm just beginning to realise how much I've been missing!

I was considering Golf Punk too, but that seemed excessive, until I was sure is it would would be worth the money.

I subscribe to Gold Digest. It's a pretty good magazine. They do have quite a few ads though, which is annoying but then again a subscription is very reasonable. I like their equipment issue over most other magazines.

Golf punk is only good for the girls... and even they're fully dressed lol
Todays Golfer is the Mag I subscribe too and find it a more enjoyable read than Golf Monthly, although it is for no particular reason.

Golf Digest seem to full of lousy instructions, decent interviews, and sort of helpful reviews. we cancelled the subscription. Golf Week is more about what happening on tour and in the industry, and thats what i like.

Golf for women is the best golf rag out there...im not shitting you..hahahaha. It has good fundemental things in them, and neat work out tips for golfers that you dont see in mens mags. I still do a shoulder and chest stretch everyday that I read about in golf for woman over a year ago..hahaha.

Chose both suck. Most of the golf magazines seem to basically go over the same information over and over again.
âI'm glad I brought this course, this monster, to its knees.â
