You may have addressed this already and I apologize if so, but what do the engraved "X"s stand for on your 60 degree wedge? Hole-outs?

no ones asked that and honestly they don't mean anything. just stamping. i was tinkering around when i was putting my initials in my CBs and figured i'd give it a shot on the 60 (i have 2-3 around in case it looked awful)...i'm going to be doing it a lot cleaner on my other wedges. just haven't had time. thanks for askin anyway!

In my Titleist 2014 9.5" Staff bag:

Cobra Bio+ 9* Matrix White Tie X  - Taylormade SLDR 15* ATTAS 80X - Titleist 910H 19* ATTAS 100X - Taylormade '13 TP MC 4-PW PX 6.5 - Vokey TVD M 50* DG TI X100 - Vokey SM4 55 / Vokey SM5 60* DG TI S400 - Piretti Potenza II 365g

Sure, I was just curious. I've seen markings added to equipment in other sports, but never really in golf. For example, football players will put stickers on their helmets when they make big plays or something like that. Just thought maybe there was some significance to them. I like the idea though. In fact, I might have to start doing something like that myself. It would be cool to have a marking for every time you holed out with a club, aside from the putter obviously. Hurts the resale value I'm sure, but it would be fun to explain why I have a mark on my 6 iron.

so up to now ive been exclusively riding cards (s. florida weather is balmy) but I'm getting a clicgear 3.0 on the cheap and going to give walking a shot. I envision riding some still when I play with friends and walking when I'm solo. with a stand cart it was always woods on tops smaller irons on bottom but this bag is different as it has a 14 way divider. I googled some images and saw a lot of left to right setup..how does this look to you all? I have one round in with new clubs and all the clubs felt like old friends (how forgiving they were) except the g25 driver as it's clearly not the club but my swing that still needs to imrpove.

Got a mismatched head cover with the R11S so that will be getting swapped out. Otherwise about ready to play.

Just found a matching R11S magnet closure head cover in the Dick's clearance section. It was either that or ScoobyDoo.

Is that the Ping that sings? I used to play golf with a co-worker back in the late 80's who had one of those dinging Pings, I've been watching for a pinging Ping ever since. Slotted Pings I've found so far have all been muted.

Unfortunately it is not. I have hit numerous Ping putters including a bunch of old ones and have yet to find one that actually makes a "ping" noise!

According to a few sites I just Googled, the dinging Ping is the 1A model (of which there were several plus remakes). In any case it is nice that you have your dad's putter.
