Just gave my wedges to my buddy so I am in the market for some new ones, thinking of new irons also. I do like the 2.0's but I can't shape the ball as well as I wish I could.  Pics are kinda bad but my phone is old lol

Lots of new stuff the past month, new bag, new irons, new wedges, new putter. Funny story with the putter, it's not mine. Buddy lent it to me in Scottsdale when I couldn't get my bags out of airport s

Did some tweaking to my putter..

Got a Scotty Cameron Custom Shop Mid-Sized grip put on and upgraded the weights from 15 g (old style) to 20g (grinder engraved) weighs. My putting feels like it has definitely improved, I was used to a 360g putter before I switched to the fastback.

At least you've got Rich Gannon!

I would counter with "And Joe Flacco!" but I'm a Patriots fan and still not exactly thrilled with Flacco's new-found success. ;-)

Is that the Oakley Fairway?  I'm interested in that bag.  Does it have the velcro glove spot?  How do you like it?

It's not the fairway, it's the "carry" bag. The fairway is the upgraded version. I personally love the bag I have but if had the chance id take the fairway over this one. It seems Oakley put a bit more thought into the fairway.

My gameday bag…

White Ogio towel is for my face. The black microfiber towel is for the clubs.

.

how do you like the golf pride grips? Thinking of getting them on my clubs. They are expensive but love the orange ones. How durable are they?

I like the color coding. I have the GP red/black on my driver and like it. When it's time to re-grip my 4-wood & 4-hybrid, I'm going to put the multi-compound grip on those two clubs.

    • All his IG posts are written as if it’s him (which I believe they are), and he seems like an eloquent enough person to write that. It would be a bit weird phrasing it like that if someone else wrote it.0
    • Did you end up going?  I was there for three days this past week and played east on Tuesday.  I was unimpressed for the money.  Cool to play a course that’s hosted big tourneys, but I thought the layout was kind of boring.  Beautiful location though. The day I played they had just dumped sand on the greens so they were slow and the members I played with said they just had a member-member tourney that weekend and hadn’t moved the cups in four days.    the hotel was fun.   My wife and I did the zip lines nearby one day.  Cool area.
    • This is the only pair I’ve had a problem with and I’ve been buying shoes online since I dunno, 2010?    Zappos, the online shoe retailer has been around for awhile, it makes like 2 billion in revenue and wasn’t it bought by Amazon? I just can’t be bothered to go to an actual store. And that’s pre pandemic.
    • Hey @iacas, with practicing the way you do, standing with your torso slightly tilted for a minute or more at a time rehearsing and re-rehearsing, do you ever experience lower back issues?
    • That’s just in your head. You’d be amazed how awful people can be in retail.
