Put together a vintage set for some rounds with the kids and some par three courses.

To add a slight comment. The 2.5 + is fantastic and fits very well into the slots of my Rovic. Obviously for throwing it on your back as well.

How do you like the Cobra Wedges? I have some old Trusty Rustys and they still hold up very well. I actually still game the sand wedge (55 just like yours- I need to post an updated WITB on here).

Can we see the putter?

The cobra wedges are great but they are beginning to look a little tired and worn but that is most likely only to my eye. I will be going to a custom fitting for wedges just to compare these wedges to a new set and see if there is any difference in performance (distance/spinn/feel). If there is no difference then I will keep my Cobra wedges. 

My Spider Tour putter is great and offers a lot of forgiveness on off centered hits but I may buy a new putter this year just to try something new. I have been testing a few thicker blade style putters that I really like the look of when I stand over the ball.

Yeah so I did have a Spider Tour in the bag but I wrote earlier in the week I have been looking to buy a new putter. 

After testing a couple of different putters on and off for the past couple of week I finally bought a TaylorMade TP Del Monte.

Way too cold and snowy to play golf so might as well post some gear pics!

 

I played like a madman last summer. Broke 100 at the beginning of the season, broke 90 towards the end of the season and overall got much closer to knowing my swing and game. Got some nicer gear too! I haven't tried all the new 2021 drivers, but nothing I've read suggests a significant improvement over the previous year, so I'll likely be sticking with the Epic Flash. I use the fairway metal off the tee more often than the driver actually- it goes pretty much just as far and my miss is smaller.
