I am out that weekend for sure, the mere mentioning of missing Halloween to play golf would make me more than unpopular around the house. Plus I enjoy taking my kiddo out trick or treating.

I would be in on any non-holiday weekend though if you came up with a different date. I will add you are going to have a difficult time filling 16 spots on halloween weekend.

Those statements, right there, make all you A-OK in my book ... that's Awesome ... I thought I was the only dude that liked to see kids running around in costumes begging for candy!

I'm out for simple fact that I can't afford a flight to vegas ...

Like I said before any non-holiday weekend would work. Las Vegas is cheap and easy for me to get to so Nov 7-9 or 14-16 work fine.

I might be able to swing this, the Nov. 14-16 would probably be

better but the other doesn't necessarily rule me out immediately either.

I coach two Soccer teams so I'm out until the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Perhaps there will be another Sand Trap Open either near San Fran, or on the East Coast after December.

It would be cool to make this an annual or semi-annual thing at different clubs throughout the country for members who can't make trips across the country.

I would love to get completely demoralized by fellow members.

I don't know, but I'm withdrawing. I think it'd be better to try to set something up in March or something.

For me to have any chance of doing something like this, it will have to be in the spring or later. I just flew to PA, and it will be awhile before the finances allow for another flight.

      You might want to try a can of Bar Keepers Friend. Yes, it is abrasive, so just wet a sponge and dab it on. It has oxalic acid (no bleach like "Comet" kitchen cleanser), and it works wonders on stainless steel and other metals. Try it on a small area first to see what happens.

      Fair   My uneducated thought: the big miss is the penalty area. If you want to optimize score, missing into the bunker (likely 5) is better than missing right into the penalty (possible 6). With that, your strategy seems sound and if you hit a committed shot, you get a bunker 5% of the time, take your medicine and hopefully get a putt for par but accept bogey. You may find yourself in a penalty situation 2-3% of the time and accept the associated outcome. The vast majority of the time though you are giving yourself a good approach shot into the green.

      I walk 30 mins a day on my lunch break. It is not very intense (since i dont want to get sweaty in my work clothes), so just a touch above leisurely. 3 days a week I walk on the treadmill for 60 mins. I alternate the incline from 4 to 10 for a couple minutes, once every ten minutes. I lift my kettlebells nearly everyday. I have a couple complex routines. I find just 15 minutes and my heart rates is elevated
