Best food @golf course?

i always eat breakfast at my home course... they have a killer breakfast plate... a couple of eggs over easy... bacon... buttery toast and hashbrowns... with a cup of coffee...
if i eat lunch there... its usually chilidogs... but theyve had kick a$$ chowder every now an then

There is a golf course in Ohio that MADE the best milk shakes you ever had!!

It was miles and miles away from home, but we played there because the milk shakes were that good. Unfortunately, they don't make them anymore. They said that they were too expensive to make. Shoot, I'd have paid what ever it cost, but they didn't see it that way, so, no more milk shakes...

Whistling Straits.... great fish n' chips if you're sitting either before or after a round. at the turn you have to have a Brat... Sheboygan is Brat capital of the world.

got to have the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich before the round at my club to go with a coffee. at the turn it is usually just a gatorade, and some crackers, and then after the round, nothing is better than shootin the $hit over a couple frosty beers, and a good steak sandwich.

My parents used to live in Jakarta, Indonesia. My dad belonged to http://www.jagorawi.com/ (scorecard distances in meters) and I would fly over for Christmas break and play with him there every day possible. Amazing Japanese food---noodles, Japanese/Korean BBQ (like a fancy Japanese restaurant with great Asian beers, etc). The course catered to the Japanese (cheaper to fly from Japan to Indonesia and play a round of golf that to stay in Japan and play a round (this was mid 90s)

In the states, I like to order cheeseburger and a beer after the round.

My folks now live in Bahrain (dad is chemical engineer). There is one grass course, all the others are sand (the greens are a mix of sand and oil). He hits all of his shots (except putts) off of astro turf mats that you carry around with you.

my brother told me about playing courses like that when he was in the military... i still cant picture it... hahaha

scotcheroos at grandview in des moines iowa are the best i have ever had do the front 9 get one and a beer and play the back 9 some time one for the ride home. i dont know what thy do but there the best.

My club makes the best chicken caesar salad I have ever eaten. Also they make a great steak sandwich and breakfast wrap. In fact everything is good!!!

The best GC food I ever had came from a Golf Course at Fort Bragg, NC. The course is called Ryder GC. It was called the Parmaster and it was a big thick cheesburger. Similiar to the burgers you can get at Fuddruckers, not as big though. It was something you had to get after you were finished because you wouldn't want that thing floating around inside your stomach while running around on the course. It was delicious though.
