My comment was a little tongue and cheek.

Yea, I caught it. I just didn't have anything clever to respond with at the time.

They say money can't buy happiness. But it sure looks like you rent it.

I used to work at a fine dining restaurant. One of our regulars came in with a different young woman every week.

I'd rather be rich and unhappy than poor and unhappy, that's for sure 😉

    • The best part was that he’s actually playing professional golf. Hovland got off to a poor start and got some catching up to do if he is to take three in a row.
    • 32+ months now of regular exercise, and in April it will be five years on the keto diet. I’ve gone from 210 to 169 (I’m 6-0 tall) and I lost that weight over five years. I would consider myself a gym rat at this point. I make a point to get enough sleep and I make time for this whenever I can in my day. I rarely break a sweat when lifting, so this isn’t very high intensity but it still builds strength (for me). I try to do something active every day. Occasionally I’m too tired (like once every 9 days) and I take a day off. I try to go on walks daily as well. Post dinner selfie last night. Not bad for 40. My exercise plan is largely founded upon the fundamentals I learned in rehab from my past surgeries. It’s why I don’t push too hard in the gym. Just doing anything, and with good form, is enough for me to move the needle forward. I guess the only time I really sweat is on my peloton rides and I only do those once in a while.
    • Day 4: 11/30/2023: Outdoor range again today. @klineka Yep, the Westerville one. There's also one with heaters in Dublin.  The Golf Center – SportsOhio So, today I did much the same as I did yesterday, only I did it a bit better yesterday.  Started out working on my priority pieces with the 6 iron. Then moved to the 9 iron, then the driver and finished with the 3 wood. After that "I played" the course that my tournament is held on every year. I did not do as well as yesterday. But I still feel as though my swing is in a descent place.
    • Yes, it does. I have one under my desk right now.
    • Thank you. The support does help for sure and I feel as if rhe fitness part of my journey will only go so far if I keep up with the smoking. Congrats on your quitting!
