Ball Retriever: Helpful accessory or 15th club?

Don't carry one, but I use my friend's on occasion. If only they made one with a stiff shaft.

Neither.

1. It's not designed for striking the ball and would be a terrible choice to do so.

2. Any ball that has a proven affinity for the water has no place in my bag. I have enough trouble with the game without having to worry that a ball might get it in it's mind to take a quick swim in the middle of my round. I leave swimming balls alone!

Neither.

I look at it this way; balls do not like water, therefore a ball that has gone in the water has learned it's lesson and does not want to go back in.

Too bad the same is not true for bunkers.

Before you just go out and buy & use a ball retreiver, I would suggest lessons.

i have one. found 6pro v1, 2 hx hotbite, and 1NXT tour on my walk from the first teebox to the first green (water hazzard, 210 to carry). It pays for itself overtime.

Free balls = no wasted money
