Anyone want to share their tats? Thinking about getting one sometime in the future but not sure what. I don't really have anything with a meaning to use as a guide right now, though.

I have seven now, just added two recently after a long layoff. I have two more planned, they'll be my two largest. I have pics of the most recent two (one pic also shows one of the older ones; it's large in dimensions but not file size, but sorry anyway :p):

Nothing in the swing is done at the expense of balance.

You should check out the site 'Ugliest Tattoos' (dunno about the policy on linking to sites like that so I'll play it safe) before you think about getting inked. It's good for a laugh and a few "what the hell were they thinking?!" moments, It's also not work safe so be warned.

i don't have any tattoo's, nothing against them, just not committed to anything enough to get it permanitely written on my body. I do find it funny that people get tattoo's of things like there favorite car, or the pet's name, or something else that inevitably goes away before the tattoo does.

Just imagine in 60 years when somebody's grandkid makes the statement, Grandma, what is that chinese looking symbol above your butt mean? Will you have the heart to tell that little kid it was a tramp stamp?

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

It would be a ways in the future and would have meaning like kids or wife's names or something.

I have 9. Two I want to get covered, which will be done when I start my half sleeve. They were dumb tats I got at 16.

Tats are awesome, as long as clothes cover them for the times when its important to look professional.

In the Ogio Kingpin bag:

Titleist 913 D2 9.5* w/ UST Mamiya ATTAS 3 80 w/ Harrison Shotmaker & Billy Bobs afternarket Hosel Adaptor (get this if you don't have it for your 913)
Wilson Staff Ci-11 4-GW (4I is out of the bag for a hybrid, PW and up were replaced by Edel Wedges)
TaylorMade RBZ 5 & 3 Fairway Woods

Cobra Baffler T-Rail 3 & 4 Hybrids

Edel Forged 48, 52, 56, 60, and 64* wedges (different wedges for different courses)

Seemore Si-4 Black Nickel Putter

Only one I have....for now

Awesome.

Anyone else think a tramp stamp of the Callaway arrow pointing downward would be the best tattoo ever to see on a girl?

Awesome.

Hahaha, that would be amazing. Especially if you ask her if she's got a Scotty Cameron Ball Tool in her nightstand to help you line things up! Not sure about you guys, but seeing a girl on a golf course automatically adds 3 points to her "rating". As in, even a 6 who bothers with golf goes up to a 9 in my book. Maybe that's from all my years working in a cart barn and being surrounded by 60+ year old dudes that the first time the least bit of tail shows up, watch out!

Anyway, here's my tattoo. I've always had a thing for the Statue of Liberty. Seems so patriotic, but not in an over-the-top cliche eagle wrapped in an American Flag way, if that makes sense. Not sure how to embed a photo, but we'll see if it works:

I have a half sleeve...

koi, lotus, clouds and wind bars ect.. about 16 hours total on that particuler design...

i also have the traditional blue bird engulfed in swirling clouds on the entire inside of my right arm pit to my elbow..

up near your armpit on the underside felt like someone was taking and putting a fire out on your skin..lol

here is somewhat of a pic of it..

Somebody's showin off more than just the ink.... jk man

Glad to see a posting about Tattoos!

I have a few tattoos, no pictures with me right now since I'm at work. A couple are band related - one is a baseball size Alice in Chains star, one is a smaller Biohazard star. Then I have a larger one on my shoulder that was done at 2 times. First is a black tribal star (ya I know, the same tribal stuff that everyone seems to have now), and I later went back to get something added to it because I didn't like it.

I think I went to a completely different tattooist to get the additional work on the shoulder, and he added some all black tribal looking lightning bolts on the bottom & top of the star ... but I don't really dig it. Was thinking about getting another tattoo to cover that up, but it's pretty big (probably about 7 inches from top to botton and 5 inches wide) so I don't know what anyone could do to cover that up.

I've been wanting to get more work done lately ... would like to start getting some bigger pieces. I think eventually I'd like to be covered from shoulder to shoulder, perhaps an entire back piece, big leg pieces, etc ... rather than a bunch of random small stuff.

My question is, it's better to plan out the big pieces and have the design ready ... rather than to just get a bunch of smaller stuff & somehow try to tie it all together, right?

I look through pictures of people with big tattoos, and from afar it looks like it was all one big design ... but when you get closer there are alot of smaller ones somehow tied together.

My problem is, if I wait to find the perfect BIG design, I might not ever get anything done because I'm very indecisive and things have to be perfect before I'll commit. But if I just get random stuff and try to put it all together, I don't want to look like a jigsaw puzzle.

Similarly, I don't think I can (or want to) commit to one design for my entire body (legs, shoulders, back, etc). Would getting a bunch of different bigger designs still look junky even though they were large designs?

Donnie_Brasco, the tattoo on your left arm looks cool ... all the same design, not a bunch of smaller random stuff. If you were to put more tattoos on your left shoulder, or your left side, or your back ... would they be the same design style as the one on your arm? Or do you go with something completely different & hope it doesn't all clash?

Thoughts?
